Some action pics from the trip i didn’t go. W²

We planned a trip to Morocco almost a month back. We had everything settled, plane tickets, gear, international driver’s license… everything.

So that day came and right now we are in the middle of it… according to the journal that is.. i’ll explain later..

So here are some pictures of our trip..

Noticed anything weird on the pics?

I’m not anywhere!!! And it’s not because i shot the pictures.. i’m not anywhere.. i’m not in Morocco!

I’m sitting on my couch clicking the same gallery as you guys just to take a glimpse of the trip that i was supposed to be a part of as well.

The only “picture” of me i managed to get during that period was the one below, the MRI showing my knee fucked up.

So a W² tip for you: At least a month before a surf trip, stay home put your feet on the couch (especially if you just mopped the floor) or wrap yourself with bubble-wrap just to be sure. And for the love of God.. never attend martial art classes, especially with overweight guys!

27th of April. There was a spot somewhere in Pelloponisos working almost perfectly.

From 8am till noon, the swell was elbow to shoulder high, offshore wind, glassy conditions and only 5 surfers in the water.

It was as if you were in the ocean. Calm conditions and huge gaps between sets, and i mean huge gaps, you could solve a sudoku puzzle and i don’t mean level 1.

Enjoy the pics, sorry for the retro style, but that session has awaken the soul surfer in me. W²
