Standing on a board.. used to be the greatest feeling while making the first steps as a surfer.

Now, the surfers to be, have the chance to attend surfing classes, even on greek ground, with the help of diploma owner instructors, in several beaches. The most important thing is that they learn to do it properly and with respect.

So people, before accusing the schools of creating more surfers, be grateful that they teach to newcomers some values and rules most of us don’t even know about.

One of those schools is spotted in Ikaria island,  Mesakti beach and has been created along with the first greek surfing association called “το κύμα”. Both the association and school are trying to earn a place in greek surfing society and push things further.  We are thrilled to know that efforts are made and we hope for some progress. W²
